At Clifton Australia, we love seeing our umbrellas become part of something bigger than simply keeping people dry. Sometimes they become raffle prizes, sometimes gifts, and sometimes a small contribution towards an event supporting a cause that really matters.

In September 2026, we were delighted to support Red Faces SA and their Quiz Night fundraiser for GROW SA, helping contribute to an evening dedicated to mental health awareness, community connection and fundraising.

Supporting Red Faces SA & GROW SA

Red Faces SA contacted Clifton Australia in June to ask whether we would be able to contribute a prize towards their upcoming Quiz Night supporting GROW SA Mental Health and Wellbeing Programs.

We were very happy to help.

As a company, we believe community organisations and fundraisers play an important role in bringing people together and supporting causes that can make a genuine difference. We donated one of our popular UPF50+ Duck Print with Navy Duck Handle Umbrellas as a raffle prize for the evening.

With its fun duck design, matching duck-head handle and practical compact size, it was a prize that was designed to bring a few smiles while supporting a much more important cause.

A Quiz Night With a Difference

Held at Hawthorn Bowling Club on Saturday 5 September 2026, the fundraiser brought teams together for an evening of quiz questions, prizes, raffles, auctions, entertainment and plenty of community spirit.

The event was also held in support of Odd Socks Day, adding another fun element to an evening focused on raising awareness and funds for mental health and wellbeing.

Guests were encouraged to put their teams together, come along in their best odd socks and enjoy an evening packed with entertainment.

There were prizes for team names, best odd socks and other categories, along with a raffle, auctions and plenty of giveaways.

The event also featured a special appearance from Abbie Walpole, winner of Red Faces 2026, as well as guest entertainment throughout the evening.

More Than $3,400 Raised for GROW SA

Following the event, Red Faces SA's Event Manager and Founder, Brenton Williams, got in touch to let us know just how successful the evening had been.

Together, the event raised more than $3,400 for GROW SA.

We were thrilled to hear the news and grateful that our small contribution could be part of such a successful fundraising evening.

Brenton explained that the funds raised would go towards programs supporting people affected by mental health challenges and mental wellness issues in South Australia.

Importantly, the funds raised through this particular event are supporting Get Growing, a program aimed at young people aged 11–17 who may be growing up in families experiencing challenges such as mental health issues, drug or alcohol issues.

The program focuses on helping young people develop positive distractions, support and a plan for their future.

Why Community Fundraising Matters

Events like the Red Faces SA Quiz Night demonstrate just how much can be achieved when businesses, community members, organisers and charities come together.

A quiz night might begin with a few teams, some questions and a raffle table, but the funds raised can go on to support programs that have a much wider impact.

For Clifton Australia, being able to donate a prize is only a small part of that bigger picture. We are proud to support organisations that are working to strengthen their communities and raise awareness around issues that deserve attention.

Our Duck Print Umbrella Takes a Night Out

Our UPF50+ Duck Print with Navy Duck Handle Umbrella was donated as one of the prizes for the fundraiser.

The umbrella features a playful duck print on navy fabric, a matching duck-head polished handle and a compact folding design, making it both a practical everyday umbrella and a fun gift.

We love seeing our novelty umbrellas used for fundraisers because they make prizes a little more memorable while still being something useful that the winner can enjoy long after the event has finished.

And hopefully, whoever took home our duck umbrella won't need it too often!

Thank You, Red Faces SA

A huge thank you to Red Faces SA for inviting Clifton Australia to be part of the fundraiser and for recognising us as a sponsor.

We were particularly pleased to hear that the evening raised more than $3,400 and that the funds will help support important mental health and wellbeing programs through GROW SA.

Thank you to Brenton Williams, the Red Faces SA team, everyone involved in organising the evening, the event sponsors, entertainers, volunteers and, of course, everyone who bought a ticket, joined a team, entered the raffle or contributed to the fundraising.

It is wonderful to see a community come together for an evening of fun while raising money for such an important cause.

We were very proud to play a small part.

Looking Forward to More Community Support

At Clifton Australia, we are always grateful for the opportunity to support community groups, charities, fundraisers and events across Australia.

Whether it is donating an umbrella as a raffle prize, supporting a fundraising event or helping an organisation promote its cause, we believe that small contributions can become part of something much bigger when a community gets behind them.

Congratulations to Red Faces SA on a fantastic fundraising result, and we wish GROW SA and the Get Growing program every success in continuing their important work.

Thank you for allowing Clifton Australia to be part of your night!
