I’m Cath Philpott - Cathryn when I’m pretending to be a grown-up.
Hey… I am addicted to marrying couples…that’s for sure.
I married my first couple in 2015. My beautiful niece asked me to do the ceremony, and after that, I jumped in feet first in training to be a celebrant. I finished the course whilst traveling around Australia with our kids, and returned all revved up and ready to start hitching gorgeous couples.
I have been happily married since 2004, when Paul and I were lucky enough to get married on the beach at Honeymoon Bay on the South Coast by a dear friend. It included a surprise ‘flash mob’ from my family, Paul’s love of Twisties, and of course my love of horses….go figure!
We have two beautiful children (under that cloak they wear of being teenagers) and our life in Berry on the South Coast of NSW (after moving from Cronulla), is made up of family, friends, community events, social occasions and of course, enjoying our beautiful coast and mountains.
Becoming a mother in 2005, and again in 2007 led me down a career change from being a teacher for 12yrs…to becoming a stay-at-home mum. So I know how to wrangle a bunch of little flower girls and a tribe of cheeky groomsmen for that matter…ha ha! I am also known to be that person who thinks of everything and YES…I will probably make sure that the wedding party has no boogers up their nose and no mobile phones bulging out of their trousers. I am also known for having a very chilled, relaxed vibe with my couple. My job is to make sure your day go off seamlessly with a bang…not stress you out.
So if you are a bit of a nervous nelly…that’s OK. I gotcha!
So deciding to become a Celebrant just made sense for me. I love a party….love a reason to celebrate…love to dress up…love music…. love champagne…love to hear people’s stories … love a bit of cute romance… am partial to a microphone…love writing… and love a good laugh!
And hey! Who doesn’t love a good wedding!?!?
When I am not being a Kickass Celebrant, I love paddleboarding, pilates, entertaining with family and friends, snow skiing, music, travelling, anything to do with the beach, and spending time with my cheeky Border Collie – Molly just to name a few. And not to forget WINE! Can’t forget that!

Monogramming your wedding umbrellas with names or initials is a popular and quaint way to add another layer of personalisation to your wedding, and can make for a poignant memento of your day.
La Bella Wedding Umbrellas can monogram your design in one colour (PMS only), either directly onto a panel of your umbrellas, or onto the umbrella sleeve.

Will my umbrellas arrive in time for my wedding?

What if my umbrellas arrive damaged or in poor condition?
We'll refund the cost of any faulty umbrella that you may encounter
How does the No Rain Refund work?
If you find there’s no need to use your umbrellas on your wedding day, return our umbrellas unused and in their original condition and you'll get 80% of your money back if posted 45 days from date of purchase! Excludes the cost of delivery and return, conditions apply
What’s your returns policy?
If you purchase items from La Bella and don’t use the items you can return it to us at La Bella Wedding Umbrellas, Clifton Australia, 27 Vella Drive, Sunshine West, VIC, 3020 within 45 days from date of purchase for a 80% refund on the cost of the umbrellas. The refund excludes the cost of the original shipping of the goods and is for the goods only. The customer will also be responsible for return delivery charges. We will only accept the item back into stock if it is unused and undamaged. This assessment will be made by La Bella Wedding Umbrellas staff at the time and upon point of return. This refund offer excludes any umbrellas that have been printed using the monogram printing offer.
What’s your Out of Stock Policy?
We make every effort to maintain our inventory and mark items “out-of-stock" or remove the item on our website. On occasion, however, we may have fewer items in stock than what you order or the item may have just become "out-of-stock" from a previous order. Should this happen, we will shall be in contact directly with you via phone or e-mail to discuss your order.
Your options will include:
* Selecting an alternate product
* Postponing your whole order delivery until all items can be sent in one delivery
* Cancelling your order for that product or products
* Cancelling your full order
According to your selection, any refund or additional payment will be processed via your credit card or payment method used in the transaction.

After purchasing your umbrellas from La Bella, you will receive a discount code that will be applicable at checkout at www.umbrellas.com.au
What’s your shipping policy?
Unless otherwise specified at time of order, your order will be dispatched using Standard Shipping. La Bella Wedding Umbrellas offers FREE standard shipping on orders over $300.00. For orders under $300.00 a charge of $22 is added to the order for the cost of standard shipping.

Do you offer express shipping?
La Bella Wedding Umbrellas will quote on sending your order (if over $300) via Express Shipping based on your location and time requirements and will get you to pre-pay the quoted Express Shipping cost over the phone (accepting Visa, Mastercard and American Express) to minimise delays of dispatch. We sincerely apologise if the express shipping services cannot meet your deadline, however with last minute orders, not all areas of Australia can be reached in time.
